Our WR sleepers for 2017 fantasy football:
Ted Ginn – Snead will play the slot, Thomas will play one outside WR position, Ginn will play the other. Brees is the best QB he’s played with and Ginn will have a career year. Super steal in the 10-12th round of any draft.
Chris Conley – All the hype is around Tyreek Hill, but Conley will see the biggest benefit with regards to uptick in stats. Take him in the last round of your draft and watch him become a decent WR 3 to have on your bench as a bye week replacement or spot starter with upside.
Zay Jones – This guy has the cards falling his way. Watkins is gone, Boldin retired, Matthews in injured. Jones is quietly becoming the top rookie WR to grab. Draft him in the 12th round and watch him become a quality WR2 that you paid next to nothing for.
Julian Edelman – He continues to fall in drafts. If you can pick him up in the 5th or 6th round he’s a steal. Don’t believe the hype – his role will not change. He has never been a touchdown machine, but you can count on him as a solid WR2 with excellent weekly production in a PPR league.
Kenny Stills – He’s going undrafted in many leagues. At worst he can be a spot starter for you, but with Cutler throwing the ball all over the place Stills could be a huge beneficiary. I’m not sold on Parker, and Cutler could make Stills a steal if he turns out being his favorite target. He’s a good bye week replacement option with upside to potentially break into your weekly lineup.
Cole Beasley – He was injured for the second half of last season. Go look at his stats from the first part of the season and figure that’s what you will get as long as he stays healthy. WR3 with upside in a high powered offense that may throw more if Zeke is out for an extended period of time.
