Peyton Manning will be a fantasy football stud again in 2008. He is a steady performer, and will be back at top form this coming season.

With Harrison back from his injury, and Gonzalez getting plenty of experience under his belt, look for Manning to put up some lofty numbers this year. He will be driven a bit more this year after his brother won a Superbowl. Sibling rivalry, he’s already a heck of a competitor, now he has one more motivational factor. Add that to being knocked out of the playoffs without even reaching the championship game, this Colts team is going to hit the ground running this year.

I like all the Colts on offense for the 2008 fantasy football season, and Manning is where all that offense starts. He’s a good pickup in the second round. I’m not normally an early QB drafter, but Manning is as close to a sure bet as it gets. His value will be a bit less this year due to his 2007 season, and Brady’s record setting year, so you may even see him fall into the early third round in some drafts.

If he’s around late in the second round, early in the third, he has too much value for you to pass on him.
