Brandon Jacobs should be a pretty solid fantasy football running back this season. I would put him down as a high end number two, with some additional upside.
Jacobs should put up pretty solid numbers if he can stay healthy. The Giants may go with some kind of rotation this year, just to try and keep their backs healthy. They have a couple of capable guys, but Jacobs is the number one right now.
If he makes it through the full season as the number one back in New York, expect pretty good things from Jacobs. He’s a good pickup, but be sure to draft deep at the RB position in case he gets injured. It may not be a bad idea to take another one of the Giants backs in the later rounds if you grab Jacobs early on.
If Jacobs stays on the field, he has the potential to put up 1200-1400 yards and 8-10 touchdowns. He’s a pretty good gamble to take, and should put up decent numbers. Take a look at him in the third round, if he slips lower, he should be a bargain.
