Year in and year out, Tony Gonzalez is a consistent tight end, and one you can count on to put up good numbers in the 2009 fantasy football season. With the change of scenery to Atlanta, Gonzalez should flourish.

With the young quarterback, Gonzalez will be leaned on and will be highly targeted in the passing game. Look for Gonzalez to put up excellent numbers this year, and he should be one of the first tight ends to go off the board. Pretty safe pick at tight end, you can pick him up and feel pretty confident that your tight end position is solid for the season.

If you are lucky, he may slip a little in the draft, with names like Whitten, Gates and Winslow going before him. He should give you just as much production as these all stars in the Falcons offense, and could catch 100 balls this year for those of you in point per reception leagues. Gonzalez is a stud this season.
