Drew Brees should be a solid fantasy quarterback in the 2009 season. With all of his offensive weapons returning, he should pick up where he left off last year.

Brees combines big touchdown numbers with huge yardage games. He plays in an explosive offense, and you really know what you are going to get with this guy. If you like to have a true number one quarterback on your team, Brees is a good selection.

You can safely draft Brees and expect him to be a top five quarterback this year, but you may have to spend a draft pick in the first few rounds to grab this dependable quarterback who will get you decent points week in and week out. He’ll be a workhorse for you in the 2009 fantasy football season.
