Jerricho Cotchery is an interesting player coming into the new fantasy season. With Coles moving on to Buffalo, Cotchery is the top WR for the Jets coming into 2009.

The Jets have the potential to be pretty good on offense this year. I look to Cotchery as a safe number two WR this year.

Cotchery should be good for similar numbers to last year. Keep an eye on the quarterback situation in New York, as that is a partial wild card. Keep an eye on training camp and the pre-season games to get a good read on this.

Take a look at Cotchery in the middle rounds of your draft. He might be a decent number two receiver. I would not expect better numbers than he put up last year, but I also don’t expect his number to slip much. Pretty safe bet with Cotchery.
