Jerricho Cotchery is an interesting player coming into the new fantasy season. He was the top receiver on the Jets last year, but with Coles back at full strength, I question whether he keeps that top spot.
The Jets had a terrible offense last year. With some additions to the offensive line, I expect them to run the ball better this year, and put up some more points. With that being said, I don’t expect them to turn into an offensive powerhouse.
Cotchery should be good for similar numbers to last year. I really expect Coles to return to form, with Cotchery as the number two receiver in New York. Keep an eye on training camp and the pre-season games to get a good read on this.
Take a look at Cotchery in the middle rounds of your draft. He might be a decent low end number two receiver, but I would draft him as a number three, or as a bye week replacement type of player. I would not expect better numbers than he put up last year, and if Coles regains his number one status with the Jets, a slight fall off is very likely.
