Kevin Smith could be a nice pickup this season, and I expect him to run even better than he did his rookie campaign.

Smith came in with lofty expectations. He was likely drafted before Forte in last years draft, but performed nowhere close to how Forte did. This season, Smith should slip to the early middle rounds, and should be a good number 2 RB pickup at that spot.

Consider Smith a strong sleeper this season. If Detroit can get things going even a little bit, Smith’s value will get a big boost. He has the tools to be a quality starter in this league, Detroit just needs to play some football that will allow their running back to find a groove. I would have no hesitations looking at Kevin Smith come round 5.
