You know, I thought Karl-Anthony Towns would be traded, and although to me he should be traded, apparently the Timberwolves are trying the Karl-Anthony Towns-and-Gobert experiment for a second season; big mistake. The Anthony Edwards signing was costly, but he’s a max guy and deserves it, as he’s on the verge of being a true star. I still have no idea why the Timberwolves signed their third center for $40 million, but at least the value was fair. I love the smaller additions of Shake Milton and Leonard Miller. Milton should act an important reserve guard, and I had Miller as a No. 13-25 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, although he is pure potential. The Timberwolves simply lacked much to work with, but I liked their offseason, but I would like it more if they traded their all-star big man.

Timberwolves’ 2023 NBA Draft – Grade: B
No. 33: Leonard Miller, F, CanadaNo. 53: Jaelyn Clarke, G, UCLA
I loved Minnesota’s 2023 NBA Draft. I had Miller as possible lottery selection, but grabbing him in Round 2 was a fantastic move. He’s raw, but huge and could be an excellent starting three. Miller was a straight steal. Clarke was also a steal at No. 53. Although that was basically right around his range, with his defense and versatile talents, he has what it takes to be an elite role player.
