2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Marvin Harrison, WR and Jared Verse, DE
It wouldn’t be surprising if Kyler Murray burns out with the new Arizona regime, resulting in the franhise replacing him while dealing him for draft picks.
Allar has completed 67 percent of his passes this season for 903 yards, eight touchdowns and zero interceptions. He has a powerful arm and the potential to be a special pocket passer.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Amarius Mims, OT
Mark Davis made an epic mistake to allow the NFL to push Jon Gruden out of the organization. Davis made some bad hires to start a rebuild in Las Vegas, and before long, the Raiders will be starting a new regime. Clearly, the team needs a long-term starting quarterback.
Sanders has been superb so far in 2023, completing 77 percent of his passes for 1,410 yards, 11 touchdowns and one interception. He has one rushing touchdown as well.
Multiple team sources see Sanders (6-2, 215) as a potential first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. “He won’t wow with physical tools,” said an area scout. “But his arm is good enough, especially in the short and intermediary. Mentally he can operate at incredible speed. He could be the most NFL ready as far as football I.Q., he bleeds confidence and charisma. He’ll own a team immediately because of his competitiveness and obvious advantage having grown up in the rare NFL bubble. Pro ball will not scare him.”
Sanders previously dominated at Jackson State over two seasons before transferring to Colorado to continue to play for his father. In 2021, Sanders completed 66 percent of his passes for 3,231 yards, 30 touchdowns and eight interceptions. In 2022, he completed 71 percent of his passes for 3,732 yards, 40 touchdowns and six interceptions.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Xavier Legette, WR
The Texans need a lot of help on the defensive line.
Alexander has 12 tackles, 1.5 sacks and two passes batted so far this year. In 2022, Alexander played with Georgia as a backup and recorded nine tackles, two sacks and two passes batted.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Dallas Turner, OLB
The Rams are going to need a true replacement for Jalen Ramsey.
Hunter has flashed dominant cover ability in 2023 with nine tackles, an interception and two passes defended before getting injured. As a part-time receiver as well, Hunter has totaled 16 receptions for 213 yards. At Jackson State in 2022, he recorded 19 tackles, two interceptions and eight passes broken up. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is a freak athlete with superb instincts and feel.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Laiatu Latu, DE
After trading Stephon Gilmore, the Colts are going to need to acquire a young No. 1 corner in the next draft or two.
In 2023 Morrison has eight tackles with an interception and four passes defended. He contributed to a nice performance limiting Marvin Harrison Jr and Emeka Egbuka in last September. Morrison was a freshman sensation with 33 tackles, six interceptions, and five passes defended. The 6-foot, 185-pounder has talent and upside.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Kingsley Suamataia, OT
The Packers snatch a difference-maker at safety. Starks is a star in the making.
Starks has 13 tackles, an interception and four passes defended. In 2022, he had 69 tackles, two picks and seven breakups. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder has versatile size.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Caleb Williams, QB and Maason Smith, DT
The Bears need a lot of talent upgrades on their defense and need some playmakers who can get after the quarterback.
Perkins was a beast and all over the field for LSU as a freshman. He totaled 72 tackles with 7.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, one interception and four passes batted. In 2023, Perkins has two sacks, two forced fumbles, 15 tackles and two passes batted. At 6-foot-1, 220-pounds, Perkins is a unique body type and undersized as an edge defender, but there is doubt about his explosive speed and tremendous instincts.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Drake Maye, QB
Depending on how some young edge rushers play, Denver could be looking for a true replacement for Bradley Chubb in the 2024 or 2025 NFL Draft. Williams has three tackles and two sacks thus far in 2023. As a freshman backup in 2022, he recorded 4.5 sacks and 28 tackles. The 6-foot-5, 265-pounder has a lot of upside.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Keon Coleman, WR
By the time of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Titans could be looking for an upgrade over Arden Key and/or Harold Landry.
Payton has been superb in 2023, making a lot of clutch plays for the Seminoles. He has nine tackles, a sack and two passes batted this year, but he also has been more disruptive than the numbers illustrate. In 2022, he totaled 31 tackles, five sacks and three passes batted.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Tyler Guyton, OT
The Buccaneers could use an offensive tackle to pair with Tristan Wirfs and more talent at guard. Tampa Bay could take tackles in the next two drafts and kick one player inside to guard to fix the team’s weak offensive line.
Campbell earned the starting left tackle job in training camp as a true freshman and started 13 games at left tackle. As a sophomore, Campbell has held onto the spot, protecting the blind side of Jaylen Daniels. The 6-foot-6, 325-pound Campbell is big and will enter the NFL with a lot of valuable experience – assuming he stays healthy.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): J.C. Latham, OT
The Commanders probably can’t afford to keep both Montez Sweat and Chase Young. Here’s a replacement for one of them.
Burke has played well in 2023 with nine tackles and two sacks. He ate up the Alabama offensive line in Week 2. The 6-foot-6, 257-pounder has upside to grow as he gains experience.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Kalen King, CB
Pittsburgh could use more youth on the defensive line.
Oatis has eight tackles and a pass batted in 2023. In 2022, he totaled 29 stops, a sack and two passes batted.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): None
The Panthers need to add multiple long-term receivers for Bryce Young.
Burden has played really well as a sophomore with 32 receptions for 504 yards and three touchdowns in four games. As freshman, he flashed with 45 catches for 375 yards and six scores. He also ran the ball somewhat averaging 4.9 yard per carry and scored two touchdowns. The 5-foot-11, 208-pound Burden could be a riser for the 2025 NFL Draft.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Emeka Egbuka, WR
The Patriots need some long-term starters at tackle.
Banks has played well as the starting left tackle for the Longhorns in 2023 and as a freshman in 2022. At 6-foot-4, 324 pounds, Banks has adequate size, but some might view him as having more of a guard-type body depending on how long his arms are.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Graham Barton, OT
Jalen Ramsey has been showing some signs of decline and is expensive. The Dolphins could look for a replacement come the 2025 NFL Draft.
Hancock has 11 tackles, a forced fumble and two passes defended in 2023. The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder has good size and upside.
2024 NFL Mock Draft (as of 9/29): Bralen Trice, DE
By the 2025 NFL Draft, Atlanta might have to consider a replacement for Jake Matthews.
Zuhn has flashed big ability for the Aggies. The 6-foot-7, 315-pounder should improve as he gains experience.
