Forecast Depth Chart:

Tre Jones | DeVonte Graham
Keldon Johnson | Doug McDermott
Devin Vassell | Julian Champaigne | Sidy Cissoko
Jeremy Sochan | Sandro Mamukelashvili
Victor Wembanyama | Zach Collins

Sixth Man: DeVonte Graham
Third Big: Zach Collins

Team Profile:

The Spurs return four young starters, but pair them with Wembanyama, and so a decent young team becomes the premier young roster of the NBA. I think Wembanyama will lead the Spurs in points and rebounds, with Johnson and Vassell after, at least in scoring. I also expect Jones will improve in his third season at point guard and Sochan should have a big second season. I see the Spurs as a significantly more competitive team in the first season of what should be a legendary career from Wembanyama.

Player Profile:

I am a big fan of Keldon Johnson, who along with Devin Vessell, were options 1a and 1b for San Antonio last season, but I think Johnson may be a natural fit as a second option next to Wembanyama. Johnson just averaged 22-5-3, which I think he can average again, Now, the hope is that he can improve his poor three-point shooting, which would be huge for himself and the franchise.
