2023 NBA Offseason Grade – Sacramento Kings

Sacramento Kings- Grade: B

Additions:

Jalen SlawsonNerlens NoelSasha Vezenkov

Losses:

Ricaun Holmes

The Kings have had a very quiet offseason, and it makes sense given that they proved they will be a strong playoff team for a long while. Signing all-star big man Domantas Sabonis for five more seasons means that he and D’Aaron Fox will be a duo for awhile, and keeping veteran Harrison Barnes was smart as well. Sacramento being able to bring arguably the Euroleague’s No. 1 player in Sasha Vezenkov was a fantastic addition.

They’ve had a strong offseason, but they still need a third guy who is an all-star talent and they have to know that. The problem is nobody wants to be in Sacramento.

Kings’ 2023 NBA Draft – Grade: D

No. 54: Jalen Slawson, G, Furman

The Kings traded Olivier-Maxence Prosper, but I have no idea as to why, as he was an ideal fit. He’s a talented young big who should habe been developed. As for Slawson, he has a lot of different talents and could actually make the team. I really hated Sacramento’s draft.
