Forecast Depth Chart:

Team Profile:

There were heavy Damian Lillard-to-Toronto trade talks, but I couldn’t see that actually happening. Regardless, after losing Fred VanVleet, the current Raptors will have an issue making the playoffs, so they should be selling Siakam and Anunoby for a pile of picks and build around Barnes and Dick. By giving Poeltl $80 million and Schroder $30-plus million, the franchise obviously disagree. This is simply a mistake, as in the NBA, if you have the choice to rebuild or be mediocre, you rebuild.

Player Profile:

I want to profile Dennis Schroeder because he deserves it. The long-time NBA guard is a really talented starter or sixth man, but he just helped Germany win big. I have to wonder if his incredible foreign play will translate to the pros. If so, the Raptors may have gotten the biggest steal in free agency.
